Mikhail Dronov
Mikhail Dronov is a sculptor.
He was born in Moscow on June 13th, 1956.
Mikhail have finished the Moscow state art institute name after V.Surikov, faculty of sculpture (the class of professor M.F.Baburin) in 1980.
He is a member of the Union of artists of the USSR since 1983; a member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1990; a Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts since 2002; a full member of the Russian Academy of Arts since 2007.
Awards:
2006. A gold medal of the Russian Academy of Arts. Moscow.
2001. A medal of the Russian Academy of Arts for participation in the reconstruction of the temple of the Christ the Savior in Moscow.
1997. “In memory of the 850 anniversary of Moscow” medal.
1995. A silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts. Moscow.
1988. The diploma for the “Best work of the year of Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists». Moscow.
1988. The first award and the diploma of Kvadrienalle of sculpture. Riga. Latvia.
